Do you thrive in the fast-paced world of business development? Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for winning proposals? If so, our Capture Manager role might be the perfect fit!

As our Capture Manager, you will be the driving force behind securing new and exciting business opportunities. You will be responsible for crafting winning proposals, navigating the competitive landscape, and building solid relationships with potential clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities aligned with our company's goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans, including competitor analysis, win themes, and pricing strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, proposal writers, and technical specialists to develop compelling proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Manage the entire proposal lifecycle, ensuring all content is accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and participate in client meetings to communicate our value proposition effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and government RFPs.
  • Analyze win/loss data to identify areas for improvement in the capture process.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of our capture methodology.

Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a capture manager with proven wins
  • Minimum 5 years of working on a business development team in the federal space (DoD or DOJ)
  • Ability to think strategically and derive differentiators from a company s capabilities to promote in the delivery of IT services
  • Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of a company s past performance and apply that to credible and convincing win strategies
  • Ability to identify and qualify IT government contracts and build a pipeline
  • Solid understanding of project management including strong organizational skills and clear, effective communication
  • Strong understanding of government contracts and contract vehicles
  • Strong understanding of the proposal process
  • Good instincts for when a deal should be no bid or pursued
  • Experience as a business developer is preferred
  • Experience with a CRM (like SalesForce) and pipeline tools (like TechnoMile) a bonus
