We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Revenue Operations Specialist reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing the pricing and deal structuring processes to optimize revenue and profitability. You will collaborate closely with sales, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that proposed deals align with company policies, pricing guidelines, and strategic objectives. Responsibilities

  • Deal Structuring: Work with sales teams to structure complex deals that meet both customer needs and company profitability targets.
  • Deal Review and Approval: Review proposed deals to ensure they comply with company policies, pricing guidelines, and profitability targets. Seek necessary approvals from stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and senior management.
  • Contract Negotiation Support: Provide support to sales teams during contract negotiations, offering insights on pricing, terms, and conditions to maximize value while mitigating risks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze deal performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as sales, finance, legal, and product management to ensure alignment on deal terms, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition practices.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve deal desk processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to sales teams on pricing guidelines, deal approval processes, and best practices for deal structuring.
  • Manage Salesforce data cleanliness on an ongoing basis directly and in concert with Sales.
  • Customer Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process for customers who are discontinuing their use of our products or services. Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate the offboarding process, including account closure, data migration, and contract termination.
  • Legal Review and Compliance: Partner with the Legal department to review proposed deals for compliance with regulatory requirements, monitor SLAs and prioritize Legal Reviews, contractual terms, and company policies.
  • Other ad hoc requests as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Business, Finance, or Sales or relevant years of experience
  • 1 plus year of Sales/Revenue Operations business experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CPQ or similar quoting tools
  • Competency with Salesforce or similar CRM tool

Firstup expects the base salary for this role to be between $50,000-$72,500. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
