POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, this position supports Outside and Inside Sales Representatives and Customers; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Answers phones in a courteous and friendly manner and refers calls to appropriate party.
- Maintains contact and provides internal support to Outside Sales Reps and Work with Outside Sales Teams to coordinate customer requests and to help provide superior customer service
- Initiates the process for sales orders, and assists with processing change-orders received from Customers and Outside Sales Representatives, set-up sales order, terms, payer, taxability, and pre-lien data in SAP for initial order.
- Utilizes Sales Force software and manages the database by entering project entries
- Performs required paperwork and maintains job order file records within SAP.
- Changes delivery notes to reflect loading changes and inventory shortages.
- Performs assistance with job quotes, order processing, production tracking, deliveries, and job reconciliation/closeouts.
- Process notification request for new material set-up in SAP to Production Analyst, Yard Superintendent and Production Control positions.
- Develops a working knowledge of all products and recommended installation requirements.
- Provide marketing support for samples, catalogs and information requests by Outside Sales Reps and Inside Sales Coordinator.
- Responsible for coordinating the ordering and PO creation for inventory of resale and intercompany products respective to sales demand.
- Responsible for the management of the Hand Tag log, and jobsite adjustment processing, reconciling, and closing out.
- Processes intercompany STO transactions, coordinated between regional and company wide locations supporting Outside Sales, Customer Service and Dispatch positions.
- Processes daily billing within SAP to ensure processes of “Today’s Business Today” is completed timely.
- Performs and assists with Regional Month End Processes for ensuring proper close is completed.
- Performs daily/monthly margin analysis reporting to General Manager, Sales Manager and Finance Manager, and assists with processing corrections or changes as needed.
- Supports outside sales with annual product shows, maintaining product logs and values for financial reporting and reconciling.
- Attends sales and production meetings as designated by Management.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives.
- Regular attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school education or equivalent required, some college level courses are a plus.
- Five Years Inside Sales support and/or Customer Service experience preferred, experience in the concrete block and/or sack industry are a plus.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic environment.
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality customer service.
- Working knowledge of office environment with experience using multi-line phone system, personal computer, printer, calculator, copier, and scanner. Some other equipment may be required to perform duties.
- Valid Driver’s license (required for bank deposit runs, regional support and/or meetings etc. 25% travel)
