Performance Home Medical is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative - Diabetes Division

We are seeking a motivated, high energy, individual to be an Account Executive for our new Diabetes Division.

This is an inside sales position, interfacing with both healthcare providers and current and potential patients. This position would ideally be based in Washington but open to qualified candidates in other locations.

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for activity with current and potential customers as well as health care providers. They will engage with customers in an effort to convert them to new patients.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively contact leads and respond to inquiries to convert leads timely to maximize conversion rates.
  • Work with internal PHM team to help shepherd orders through the new order process.
  • Promote PHMs diabetes products and services.
  • Work with Leadership to continually expand new patient base.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to help ensure timely processing of orders.
  • Communicate PHM value proposition to effectively differentiate PHM from competitors.
  • Learn and communicate reimbursement guidelines for all relevant payors to facilitate onboarding.
  • Develop relationships with prescribing providers including endocrinologists, PCP's, and Internal Medicine.
  • Documents call activity in CRM.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Competency, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Business ethics and integrity.
  • 1 year experience working with customers in a sales/sales support role
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with customers, outside medical professionals, internal customer care teams, clinical teams, operations staff, sales leaders, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn insurance guidelines to qualify orders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint as well as electronic prescribing platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent relationship building skills and personality
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Service orientation and experience selling services strongly preferred
  • Experience working in healthcare is a plus.
  • Experience in DME or Diabetes a plus
