Sierra Space is Hiring a Remote Associate Program Manager

Are you ready to use your leadership and skills in a program management position? This is your opportunity! As an Associate Program Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to manage our cost, schedule, and engineering deliverables, ranging from small to highly complex, for the enterprise. You'll be responsible for conducting routine meetings, interfacing on project/program status, developing proposals, researching/fact-finding, coordinating audits, and negotiating with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints. Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL—designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organizations. Learn more about Sierra Space Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in a related field Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and drive others to success Requires strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations Preferred: Typically, 1-3 years of related experience or; Bachelors in Software Engineering, Aviation or Management and typically 1-3 years of program management experience Earned Value Management knowledge Understanding of Agile methodologies Ability to lead PM process & tool improvement for the program. Experience establishing metrics in conjunction with the program stakeholders to ensure appropriate measures are in place and managed Understanding with application tools and data architectures Experience with JIRA, Atlassian Confluence; Wiki Collaboration sites Ability to establish new & further refining existing templates, tools, & guidelines for program documentation & execution. The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $136,732.06 Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
