REMOTE POSITION

UR Specialist is an insurance case manager that is responsible for maintaining and coordinating all utilization review activities within the facility. Needs to substantiate level of care decisions to insurance providers, administrators, and to the patient. UR Specialist is responsible Quality Management of documentation within the patient's chart.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelors Degree, LSW preferred or LPN. Chemical dependency experience required. Familiar with DSM 5 and Utilization Review Criteria; effective verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills and organizational skills. Ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees.
