LONG Building Technologies is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Intern

POSITION PURPOSE
You will provide basic take-off, pricing, and sales support for Sales Engineers of the BI Sales Team in the Littleton, CO Office.
Compensation Range: $25 per hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks may be assigned as required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Provide support to Sales Engineer members of the Building Automations Sales Team
  • Assist with compiling bids, reviewing project pricing and sales margins under supervision from senior employees. 
  • Assist with system selections and pricing with supervision of senior employees 
  • Assist with ordering equipment and confirming order acknowledgments with supervision of senior employees 
  • Familiarize self with departmental structure, workflow, and relevant software systems
  • Other duties as assigned 
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to do so.   • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • 2 years of collegiate level education focusing on business, engineering, construction, or related field 
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel 
  • Good written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization 
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines 
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization 
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC industry
