Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Cycle Account Specialist to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of an Account Specialist with those of managing the financial aspects of healthcare services. As a Revenue Cycle Account Specialist, you will oversee the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration to claims submission and reimbursement. Additionally, you will utilize sales skills to build relationships with clients and drive revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about reclaiming patient care via healthcare finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calls to potential clients to introduce our products and services.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities in healthcare revenue cycle management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to optimize revenue generation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries or concerns related to billing, financial assistance, and insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop effective sales strategies and meet sales targets.
  • Utilize PipeDrive to track and manage client interactions and sales activities.
  • Supervise the financial aspects of healthcare services, ensuring accurate billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their health insurance needs and provide suitable plan recommendations.
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes to clients, guiding them through the application process for health insurance coverage.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and keeping them informed about changes in policies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (experience considered in lieu of degree).
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or other relevant certification(s).
  • Valid Florida Health/Life insurance license (can be obtained after employment).
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Experience working with healthcare payers and understanding insurance claim processing.
