Power Design, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Product Owner

about the position The Product Owner will join the Software Engineering Team managing our growing suite of off-the-shelf and custom applications that fit the needs and requirements identified by the department. This role interacts with stakeholders vested in the full life cycle of the employee. The Product Owner will be a member of our development team working with our end users to maintain and prioritize product road maps, elicit requirements, and gather feedback for the development team. position details/responsibilities Taking ownership of the Product vision and roadmap Working with leadership to build, maintain, and prioritize product road maps. Understanding market trends and company needs through research and networks. Responsible for Prioritization and management of requests in the product backlog on end-user needs and business requirements. Understanding requirements and working with the development team in an agile environment to build solutions. Responsible for releasing quality code in a timely manner by partnering with the Technical and QA Teams Working with the technology's release management team to train and share new features with the business and collect feedback for the development team. Ensure business processes and system configurations are optimized and streamlined and overall vision is maintained through the sprints. here’s what we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5 or more years of experience Strong ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task. Familiar with Agile Scrum methodologies Experience working on IT projects (esp. software development/implementation) Strong communication skills – interpersonal, written, and verbal. Must have a professional, positive attitude with a drive for results.
