POSITION SUMMARY:

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking a motivated Call Center Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential clients via phone to generate and qualify leads, with a focus on promoting our home healthcare services. As a vital member of our sales team, you will engage with prospective clients, educate them about the benefits of our services, and schedule appointments for further consultation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and texts to potential clients to generate leads and qualify prospects for our home healthcare services.
  • Engage with prospects in a professional and courteous manner, providing information about our services and answering any questions they may have.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of United Energy Workers Healthcare to prospective clients, emphasizing the benefits of our services.
  • Listen attentively to prospect needs and concerns, and identify opportunities to address them through our offerings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system, including notes on conversations and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule appointments for further consultation with qualified prospects.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare regulations to better position United Energy Workers Healthcare in the marketplace.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards in all sales activities.


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the primary responsibilities, other duties of the Call Center Sales Development Representative role at United Energy Workers Healthcare may include:

  • Assisting the Outreach Benefit Advisor in entering data into the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and appointments.
  • Collaborating with team members to help plan successful outreach trips, including coordinating logistics, scheduling appointments, and preparing necessary materials.
  • Taking initiative to schedule follow-up appointments with prospective patients to ensure continuity of communication and engagement throughout the sales process.
  • Providing support to the sales team as needed, including assisting with administrative tasks, conducting research, and participating in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving sales performance.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and activities.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position supervises Outreach Benefit Consultants.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales or telemarketing, preferably in the healthcare industry or a related field.
    • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and generating leads through phone-based outreach.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and persuasively over the phone.
    • Strong active listening skills to understand prospect needs and concerns effectively.
  • Customer Service Orientation:
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with prospects to foster trust and credibility.
    • Ability to handle objections professionally and overcome challenges to achieve sales objectives.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Understanding of healthcare services and offerings, including home healthcare, medical equipment, or related services.
    • Knowledge of United Energy Workers Healthcare's products and services, as well as the ability to effectively communicate their value proposition to prospects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage prospect information, track interactions, and schedule appointments.
    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    • Ability to work collaboratively with sales team members, marketing professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
    • Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Adaptability and Resilience:
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, sales strategies, and market conditions.
    • Resilience to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a high-volume outbound sales environment.

    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the healthcare industry, including HIPAA regulations.
    • Commitment to ethical conduct and maintaining confidentiality of prospect information and sensitive data.


WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to maintain focus and work efficiently at a computer terminal for extended periods.
  • While fulfilling job responsibilities, the employee will regularly engage in various activities including standing, sitting, speaking, listening, and using hands and fingers for computer and telephone operation, typing, reaching, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Specific vision abilities necessary for this role involve close vision due to extensive computer use.
  • The position entails meeting deadlines and achieving goals, which may result in elevated stress levels.
  • The role may involve standing, walking, and substantial telephonic and face-to-face communication.
  • Minimal lifting of office records and printed materials is required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential, along with adequate hearing ability for telephone communication.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is mandatory in alignment with business requirements.
