CHAMPION CARE is Hiring a Remote Certified Benefit Administrator

Champion Care provides long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and home healthcare to individuals throughout our network. We are currently interviewing for a Certified Benefits Administrator.This position will be a hybrid of remote and travel (80% remote / 20% travel).

As the Certified Benefit Administrator, you will work under the direction of the VP or Human Resources and will work closely with all aspects of Payroll and Benefits, including but not limited to Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug, Vision, FSA Plans, HSA, Life Insurance, Leave Benefits, Retirement Plans, and Wellness. This position will also consult and train on benefit and payroll functions.

Salaried: $50,000 to $55,000 annually

Duties include:

·Benefits

·Responsible for administration of all benefit plans for the Corporation, including enrollments, coverage changes, employee questions, TPA issues, billing, etc.

·Answer questions and provide assistance with health insurance problems; contacting outside vendors and being point of contact with providers and/or brokers.

·Maintain all benefit highlight brochures and insurance manuals.

·Provide various information to General Accounting monthly or as needed.

·Prepare wire transfers or required documentation/forms and make sure all invoices are approved and sent to Accounts Payable.

·Process and/or work with external vendor on the administration of all aspect of COBRA.

·Leave of Absence/FMLA track and collect premium contributions during a leave of absence

·Assist with special projects as assigned including researching information, analyzing data, creating, and revising reports and communication to new employees.

·Conduct benefit orientations with new employees and ensure all applicable paperwork is complete and processed in a timely manner.

·Assists with annual year-end compliance testing for all retirement plans throughout the entire company along with the benefit plan audits (ACA).

·Coordinate and work closely with the Plan Administrator on all Retirement Plans, which may include maintenance of all Retirement Plan files, enrollments, changes, rollovers, and distributions/terminations, QDRO requests and employee information requests.

·Act as lead and train HR/payroll on benefit functions and processes, add and or remove deductions accordingly in payroll platform

·Audit employee time to ensure ACA compliance

·Assist with other duties normally associated with an HR department.

Skills and Qualifications:

·A technical or undergraduate degree in Business or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience

·3-5 years of experience in the Benefits/Payroll arena

·Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

·Accuracy and attention to detail required

·Proficiency in Excel and Word with emphasis on spreadsheet knowledge

·Ability to work under limited supervision and with independent judgment and discretion

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Excellent customer service skills

·Strong problem solving skills

·Ability to work in a team environment and consistently display a positive attitude
