Position Summary

Responsible for timely and effective contract management for assigned product categories, including products, services and equipment, including capital.

Leads contract price, terms and conditions negotiations with suppliers on behalf of Children's MN; Leads RFP processes; Owns capital and construction buying process to include obtaining quotes, negotiating price, terms and conditions, and timely order placement.

Key collaborator with Children's MN legal department. Leads GPO contract awareness, review and activation process; serves as contract subject matter expert in support of assigned value analysis teams.

Provides cost analysis, secures product samples and product information for Value Analysis. Accountable to meet annual savings targets for assigned contracts.

This is hybrid position :

In-Office Workdays : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Remote Workdays : Thursday and Friday

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or equivalent, or 3 years contracting experience, preferably in healthcare or three years of progressive healthcare contracting and / or procurement experience.

We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs.
