Manages Procurement Department insuring efficient inventory levels and turns, while reducing slow and obsolete products by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains vendor relationships to assure quality materials are delivered timely and at a competitive price.
· Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, acknowledgments, costs, delivery, product quality, performance and inventories.
· Supervises Purchasing Admin Supervisor and Purchasing Supervisor; works closely with Contract Management to increase inventory turns and maintaining efficient stocking levels on hand.
· Reduces slow-moving stock.
· Reduces obsolete stock.
· Manages Returns to Vendor.
· Manages the purchase of items from a limited number of vendors.
· Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises Purchasing Admin Supervisor and Purchasing Supervisor and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. 
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Four-year college degree or equivalent; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
