Field Service Technician (Capper) - Remote position

On a given day, you might find yourself:

• Setting up and adjusting machines, in the field and in our ECS facility, to equipment specifications.
• Troubleshooting and repairing machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically.
• Performing checks and setup of chucks and rolls.
• Performing machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance on seamers.
• Installing, commissioning, and setting up new cappers in customer facilities.
• Diagnosing problems, dismantling machines, replacing defective parts and reassemble machines.
• Identifying and articulating root cause problem statements while troubleshooting.
• Providing training to customers and coworkers alike.

Here is how you can stand out:

• Direct Capping Service Experience
• Have manufacturing experience in food and/or beverage industry
• You have a minimum of two-year technical school training in related field OR equivalent work experience.

Travel & Location

• Travel is required for this role from 65-80% of the time, sometimes nights and weekends, depending on location of team member residence.
• This position is fully remote but our JBT/BevCorp facilities are located in 37200 Research Drive Eastlake, Ohio 44095 United States.
• You will be required to report onsite the first 2 months for the initial training period with the ability to travel back and forth (company paid).
