Position Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The SDR will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads for our investment products and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales principles, and a passion for building relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads and opportunities through email, phone calls, and social media outreach.
  • Research and identify potential investors, business owners, and decision-makers within target industries.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and set up meetings or calls for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine prospecting strategies and messaging.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales development or inside sales, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects and colleagues.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of private equity and investment principles is a plus.
