The Finance Project Specialist plays a pivotal role in bringing together an understanding of systems capabilities and finance processes. This position will work closely with the Finance Project Manager to delve into current methods while simultaneously testing and standing up new processes across multiple systems. Reports to Manager of Finance Projects.

• Helps to develop and test system functionality related to finance processes, including billing, revenue recognition, payment processing and financial reporting.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and assist in designing procedures that streamline financial processes.
• Develops and implements testing protocols, including creating test cases, executing tests and documenting results.
• Provides training and support to end-users on new systems and procedures.
• Communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and IT team.
• Stays updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices related to financial systems and processes.
• Assists in new shared service client onboarding and testing.
• Other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting functions.
• Experience with system testing methodologies and tools.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and businesses.
• Proficient in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years testing experience.
• 3-5 years NetSuite experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior service Veteran, government civilian or family member of prior service Veteran or government civilian
