Job Overview and Responsibilities To manage an Aromatic raw materials portfolio of around 150 Million Euros. This Senior Buyer will develop and implement all raw materials purchasing strategies and will conduct key negotiations for his portfolio. He/She will also be responsible to ensure adherence to Solvay procurement processes as well as to deliver cash/cost/performance/DPO and sustainability objectives. This Senior Buyer will focus on sourcing aromatics raw materials for US based plants and will be in close contact with all manufacturing sites, asset and product managers, planning and logistics such to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods at the optimal conditions. This position reports into the Global Aromatic Purchasing Manager Education and Experience

* Bachelors Degree

* MBA is a plus

* Experience: 5 years in negotiation (complex negotiations is a must)

* Direct procurement experience preferably in Aromatics

* Game theory understanding

* Commercial acumen

* Chemical chain knowledge
