This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the general supervision of the Director of Food Service, Patient Services Manager, Food Service Supervisor & the Lead Food Service Worker; performs a variety of routine duties in the patient and retail services.

**Duties include primarily pot washing, trash, and various cleaning duties**. The Food Service Worker will be proficient at all job duties and positions. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**I.** **Position Requirements**

**A.** **Experience:** Six months Food Service experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality service preferred.

**D.** **Special Qualifications:** Must be able to use various Food Service/institutional equipment. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English. Must show good judgment and reliability. Must show good customer service skills.
