These team leaders coordinate the front and back of the house, knowing all the ins and outs of every aspect of their building. The GM works on higher level aspects of the business, including shaping the work culture, setting strategy, tracking metrics, developing managers, building the organization, overseeing operations, and handling human resource issues.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the establishment
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation and quality control
- Manage inventory levels and control costs effectively
- Supervise staff and provide guidance to achieve performance targets
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Implement and maintain standards for cleanliness and safety
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality standards
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high volume dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Proficient in kitchen management and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
