We are seeking a Program Analyst to join our data science team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will collaborate with the team to develop visualization applications using ArcGIS and PowerBI platforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for building internal applications using the PowerApps/Powerautomate platform.
Position Duties:
- Gain a broad understanding of the VDOT innovation framework.
- Utilize innovative tools and best practices to develop applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS.
- Adhere to all applicable industry and VDOT standards, processes, and protocols.
- Engage with multiple customers to understand their needs and develop applications accordingly.
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in a high-level compiled language such as C#, C , Java.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform, including PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, and Dataverse (Hard Requirement).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using RESTful APIs.
- Other software knowledge required: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Data Lakes and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $152,000.00 per year
