Position Overview:
An established and forward-thinking clean energy company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Intermediate Accountant to enhance their finance team. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team within a company recognized for its commitment to growth and professional development. The successful candidate will report to the Accountant Lead and play a critical role in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses for monthly financial close.
• Oversee the financial close process for multiple entities within the company.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies found during the reconciliation process.
• Implement continuous improvements to enhance financial procedures and compliance.
• Ensure strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Coordinate with various departments to support business objectives and ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide necessary support during audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance accompanied by at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, or;
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with foundational hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and robust computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
