Job Description:

As a Business Analyst who is passionate about delivering value to your customers, you will be working closely with a team of developers and engineers working in an Agile environment to develop innovative solutions to modernize our customer applications and implement efficiencies and methods to improve and automate our customer's business processes.

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures product planning and execution of assigned backlog refinement activities to ensure the backlog is up to date and prepared for upcoming sprints.
• Act as a liaison between the Product Owner, key stakeholders, and IT agile team to create, refine the backlog by capturing and maintaining requirements in the form of acceptance criteria and associated artifacts such as product road mapping, data mapping, and system design, and sprint planning.
• Serve as the liaison between the business stakeholders and the development team to identify and translate system and functional requirements into application development design documentation, user stories, and Epics.
• Support the project manager and development team by identifying and developing the product roadmap, project milestones, phases, and elements, as well as design documentation and customer presentations.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions between the technical team and business stakeholders to validate business objectives are and exit criteria are met.
• Work with product owners, developers, and subject matter experts to understand and document business logic and process flows
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications. Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.

Required Qualifications, Work Experience, and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Business Analyst on Agile Teams
• Experience with working in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment and facilitating interactions between product owners, business customer, and technical team members
• Experience running and facilitating the backlog grooming sessions and developing acceptance criteria for software development projects
• Experiencing leading requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, help prioritize, and manage requirements from multiple stakeholders
• Experience gathering/elicitation and documentation using various tools and techniques (e.g., facilitated working sessions, use cases, mockups, user stories, process maps.)
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques
• Ability to document business rules and impacted processes or systems and functional and technical specifications using process flows, epics, and user stories, and Agile tools
• Experience in meeting facilitation and support, reporting, and briefing development

Highly Desired Qualifications, Work Experience, and Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience working within Executive Secretariat programs
• Experience managing teams to deliver correspondence tracking systems and processes
• Experience with supporting delivery of low-code platforms including Salesforce, Appian, or ServiceNow.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack
• Agile certification(s) such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Agilists (SA) or SAFe Practitioner. (SP), SAFe Advanced Scrum Masters (SASM), and SAFe Professional Consultants (SPC)
