Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of general maintenance functions including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment as well as other facility / building systems.

Responsibilities :

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments to machinery as needed.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain plant piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair or replace gauges, valves, regulators, or related equipment as required.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, precision instruments, and other equipment required to complete daily tasks.
• Perform machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals, etc. for various machinery, equipment, parts, and processes.
• Be able to weld and fabricate from prints and or drawings.
• Work cross-functionally with management and other departments to solve problems in the plant and implement safety initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for maintenance activities and file reports as necessary.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and Electrical background preferred.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Background with PLCs or robotics is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent (vocational / technical training or college degree is a plus).
• Must be able to work a 2nd shift schedule.
• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship, now and in the future.
