Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of operations in the dental office.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, scheduling appointments in Dentrix

- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with payment processing

- Maintain patient records and update medical history as needed

- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient care

- Manage patient flow in the waiting area, ensure a comfortable and organized environment

- Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies

Requirements:

- Proven experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes

- Familiarity with Dentrix

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Skills:

- Multi-lingual (preferably Spanish or Portuguese)
