Fire suppression systems containing firefighting foam have been widely used in military bases, refineries, chemical plants, and other sites where flammable liquid-based fires form a risk.

The foam contains PFAS chemicals (also known as "forever chemicals") which have been linked to serious and adverse health effects in humans, such as different forms of cancer, decreased infant birth weight, and a negative impact on the immune system. These chemicals have created long-lasting pollution and have even found their way into our drinking water.

The solution we developed, the Ignitable Liquid Drainage Floor Assembly (ILDFA), eliminates the need for firefighting foam systems and is one of only few, effective alternatives to firefighting foam.

Responsibilities and Deliverables of the Role

In this position, you will:

• Design Hangar floor Layouts in Autodesk Revit for sales proposals for retrofit hangar projects and newly built hangars. Including determining concrete slab modifications needed and trench design.
• Go on client visits to survey the site to ensure the accuracy of the estimate and anticipate obstacles during project execution.
• Travel is expected to be 20%

You will report directly to the CEO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 3 years of civil engineering
• Proficient in Revit (active three years experience minimum)
