Riverside Insights is Hiring a Project Manager Near Chicago, IL

As a Contract Operations Project Manager at Riverside Insights, your mission is to oversee assigned contracts efficiently and effectively as they relate to state, district, and distributors assessments. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of assessment deliverables and foster collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Location: Chicago, IL area (within driving distance to Itasca, IL approx. 1-2 days a week) preferred
In this role, you will get to:
  • Manage and seamlessly execute on assigned contracts
  • Complete and share required documentation (SOW and Project Plan)
  • Achieve a 98% on-time project delivery rate based on project plan timelines
  • Captured internal work done for a contract in a FD ticket and/or a tracking system
  • Resolve contract tickets via a PM Ticket Management Process
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally
  • Hold and facilitate external meetings based on agreed upon cadence
  • Hold and facilitate internal meetings, ensuring all key stakeholders are involved and updated on contract status
  • Send written communication (agenda/meeting notes/one pagers) to internal and external stakeholders based on agreed upon cadence
  • Complete the internal CO/TS calendar (overview calendar)
  • Attend CO/TS weekly meetings and bring all relevant updates to the team (upcoming test events, weekend support needs, etc.)

Requirements
  • Project Management background required
  • Education experience: bachelor's degree and/or Project Management certification (PMP) 2 years experience preferred, or 5 years experience
  • Proficiency in project planning and management
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
  • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, internally and with external stakeholders
  • Interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork
  • Risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
  • Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
Physical Requirements for this position
  • Location: Chicago, IL area (within driving distance to Itasca, IL approx. 1-2 days a week) preferred
  • Remote
  • Up to 10% travel for off-site team meetings
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
