Assistant Controller

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assisting with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparing budget reports.
• Assist with inventory controls, inventory costing, and physical inventory management.
• Ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with internal controls, internal policies, GAAP, and legal guidelines.
• Collaborating with the IT department to maintain financial records and system processes.
• Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses.
• Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization.
• Assists with preparations for audits.
• Uses SAGE accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
• Coordinates with and prepares reports for the controller and upper management.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required.
• Proven growth experience within an accounting department required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
