Primavera Online School is Hiring an Adjunct Coordinator Near Chandler, AZ

The adjunct coordinator will perform administrative duties to support adjunct teaching staff. The administrative duties performed will be guided by the 9-12 Director and Assistant Director. The adjunct coordinator will assist administrators in school operations, including but not limited to; supervision of adjunct teaching staff, leading staff development programs, working with parents, students and teachers on issues that may arise, as well as serve as a liaison between adjunct teachers and school administration.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze student data in order to disseminate as needed, as well as to make informed decisions to support students, families, and staff.
  • Monitor student progress towards required performance outcomes and communicate progress to various stakeholders.
  • Organize and disseminate data to assign small groups of students in need of additional support & coordinate with the director and manager of tutoring program to assign tutors to small groups.
  • Actively participate in the MTSS process. Collaborate with the Student Intervention Team to identify and address the needs of students requiring additional support or intervention.
  • Support teachers to resolve differences in communication with parents and students.
  • Assist in working with students, parents, and teachers on issues related to student performance, student behavioral issues, instructional methodologies, and parent concerns.
  • Assist with the supervision and evaluation of adjunct teachers.
  • Assist in developing and administering staff development programs and opportunities.
  • Establish rapport with students and their families while expressing the importance of consistent attendance and engagement to meet learning objectives.
  • Assist school administration in the areas of talent management, financial management, emergency procedures, adjunct scheduling, substitute scheduling, and overall school operations.
  • Attend all school sponsored activities.
  • Additional duties as needed.

 The Successful Candidate possesses:

  • Understanding of relevant state regulations and policies related to online education and student conduct.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a virtual setting.

Education/Training:

  • Arizona Principal Certification or currently enrolled in an administrative certification program preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Arizona 6-12 Teacher Certificate Required
  • Teaching experience at the secondary school level desired
  • Minimum of five years of exemplary classroom teaching at the secondary level
