Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday - IN-OFFICE
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm
Benefits: HDV while on contract & then full benefits on a permanent basis
Compensation: $20/hr - $24/hr
Sanford Rose is looking for an Accounting Specialist on a CONTRACT TO HIRE basis for a country club in the Orlando, FL area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mixture of AP & AR, working with a community like team, and is self-motivated. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the general manager and Controller.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable - full cycle
Handling projects with multiple invoices
Check runs are about 30 checks per week
Communicating with vendors regularly
Accounts Receivable - full cycle
Collecting HOA Fee and dues for 1500 units
Entering in payments and updating accounts
Lien Letter, 30-Day letters, Letter of Assessments, and Monthly Assessments
Communicating with tenants and association memebers
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
H.S. Minimum, A.A. would be a plus
Proven expertise with accounting software & solid basic excel skills
Detail oriented, great follow-up, communicative, organized
Solid customer service for their vendors & tenants/customers
