Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our team. As a Hotel Houseman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in common areas, inside and out.

Duties:

- Clean and tidy common spaces according to hotel standards
- Change trash liners, clean-up pool area and parking area.
- Vacuum carpets
- Ensure all areas are well-maintained and organized
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Assist with housekeeping linens and other duties as needed

Additional Duties:

• Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods, often for a minimum of 2 hours at a time.
• Must be able to frequently walk and climb/descend stairs
• Must be able to push and/or pull approximately 60% of the time, to include when using a cart to carry linens, trash, etc. or when operating equipment such as a leaf blower, pavement sweeper, carpet cleaning machine, etc.

Skills:

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of cleaning tasks and must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
