We are growing and adding positions to our team! The job duties for the position of CNA, Certified Nurse Assistant are listed below.
Primary function is to provide personal healthcare and related services as an extension of nursing or therapy services to the patient/client in his or her place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with the patient/client, caregiver, and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of a RN.
Job Qualifications:
Completion of a Home Health Aide/CNA training and competency evaluation program or current Certified Nurse's Aide credentials.
A minimum of one year full-time experience in direct client care in a institution or home health setting within the past five years.
Good observation and reporting skills.
Successfully pass a competency evaluation given by the RN which utilizes both written and hands on skills testing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Assist with or provide services as assigned by the RN related to personal care of the patient, the patient activates of daily living and nursing tasks delegate in accordance with agency policy and rules of the Board of Nurse Examiners.
* Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings and services provided to patient in accordance with agency policy.
* Reports to the RN/DON of changes in patients condition or environment in accordance with the plan of care, skilled nurse instruction and agency guidelines.
* Reinforce patient teaching as directed by the skilled nurse or therapist.
* Preform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services as directed by a therapist.
* Attend and participate in patient case conferences and other agency meetings.
*Attend in-service training programs.
* Other agency related duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Salary: $12.89 - $17.00 per hour
