Title: Project Engineer

Location: Portland, OR

Job Summary: Lead the project's field engineering team to ensure successful project completion through effective project controls and technical support during construction.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly revenue, cost, and cash flow reporting
• Establish and manage project controls processes as per contract requirements
• Administer subcontracts and purchase agreements
• Manage equity outreach and contracting program to achieve goals
• Supervise project schedule and monthly updates
• Review design packages for constructibility and quality control
• Assist in operations planning
• Ensure team safety
• Conduct project closeout and as-built recording
• Maintain strong client relations
• Mentor construction engineering group

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, or related field; relevant experience may substitute
• Heavy Civil experience
• 5-8 years of construction engineering/management experience
• Experience in managing construction engineers
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze engineering plans and contract documents
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Effective leader and team player
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and construction estimating software
