Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering excellent patient care under the supervision of a collaborating physician. The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for integrative and functional medicine with a focus in clinical procedures and hormone therapy as well as gut health, thyroid optimization, weight loss and peptide therapy. Daily duties include patient consultations, charting/recording patient visit notes and medical histories, patient care follow-up, creating and following up with treatment plans, and performing clinical procedures.

Priority tasks

• Initial patient consultations
• Recording/charting patient visit notes and medical histories.
• Diagnosing Health issues
• Creating and following up on patient treatment plans
• Ordering and reviewing Lab work
• Identifying changes in patient health and modifying treatment plans as needed
• Performing clinical procedures to include injections as well as subcutaneous pellet implantations.
• Administering IV infusions and monitoring patients during treatment
• Prescribing and following up with medications and peptides
• Keeping up with portal communication with patients and staff
• Adapting to clinical changes in protocols or new services.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate Degree from an accredited Nursing School
• Active License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, required
• Strong organizational skills required
• 3 years of clinical work experience (Preferred)
• Strong interest in Integrative and Functional Medicine (Preferred)
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced working environment
• Ability to function well within a team
• Experience with EMR, Pubmed, and utilizing social media
• Willing to complete required 6 month training provided by employer
• This role will not be used in Aesthetic Medicine

Hours and Schedule

• Full-time salary of $100,000-115,000 depending upon experience
