We are looking for Bartenders to join our team in our next season that starts in October of 2024.

Summary: This position plays a major role in a guest's dinner and/or bar experience. Consistency is a key element in a positive experience, which is achieved by always following recipes. A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A bartender should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Welcome each guests personally within 30 seconds.

Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through bartender's actions.

Work as a team with Club’s personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.

Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to Club’s standards at all times.

Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.

Ability to serve to take and server food orders to the bar patrons.

Ring food and beverages orders into computer prior to preparing them.

Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Club’s standards.

Wash and sterilize and polish stemware.

Be attentive! Offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it.

Serve alcohol responsibly. Coordinate with all servers/team members to identify sign of intoxication.

Place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times.

Anticipate your guest's needs. Follow the one third rule when offering another drink. Be alert of guest signals (raising a hand, making eye contact, etc.) and acknowledge the guest to let them know the bartender will be right with them.

Learn guests’ names, occupations and favorite drinks. This will make the Club a special place for them.

Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience:

Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits. Familiarity with standard drink recipes. Must be 21 years or older.

Language Ability:

Ability to speak and understand English proficiently.

Math Ability:

Ability to do basic math quickly in calculating amounts of mixers and alcohol when preparing drinks.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general knowledge of point of sale system.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a non- air conditioning outdoor environment. This job operates behind the bar and may be working in close proximity to co-workers. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Expected Hours of Work:

This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend and holidays work.
