We are looking for an experienced Full Time Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Washington location.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities

Daily:

• Reconcile Washington Retail store activity and make bank deposit at German American Bank
• Collect mail from P.O. Box and distribute
• Open checks received in the mail and make online bank deposit into Chase on Monday, Thursday and Friday
• List mail checks received on Excel sheets for distribution to billing departments

Weekly:

• Assist with distribution of invoices for coding and approval
• Pull invoices for weekly check and EFT/SUA runs
• File paid invoices into files
• Assist as a backup operator

Monthly:

• Attend accounting department team meeting
• Collect coupons received, calculate totals and send in for reimbursement
• Track returned checks, make entries into GP, send letters if necessary

Misc:

• Support the mission and vision of Williams Bros Health Care Pharmacy
• Assist the Accounting Manager on various ad hoc requests
• Seek continual self-improvement
• Provide process improvement and internal control improvement suggestions
• Research deposit differences or missing deposits for billing departments
• Create new records as necessary
• Assist with year end archiving of invoices and files

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited high school
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Billing is preferred

Experience/Knowledge:

• At least two years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Detail oriented, strong desire to learn, and excellent customer service
• Excellent typing and 10-key skills
• Adequate computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel

Hours: M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
