Title: IT GIS Analyst / GIS Data Administrator

Location: Remote or Onsite

Brief Description: Suburban Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ESRI IT GIS Analyst to join our team remotely or on-site. This will be an IT Role to support our GIS teams in Flanders NJ and Atlanta GA meeting our client project needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise, SQL Server database administration, particularly within the context of GIS applications, Some knowledge of scripting and programming languages, Python, , Arcade, JavaScript, SQL, C# .net, Java, QT, Kotlin, Arcade, Swift, Unity. As IT GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the GIS groups with client deliverables and needs. Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting our team of GIS users and field technicians.

Responsibilities:

· Perform SQL Server database administration using tools such as ArcPro, SQL Server Manager, and Azure Data Studio.

· Manage SDE traditional versioned databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

· Design and create database schemas tailored for field data collection purposes.

· Develop Field Map and Survey123 forms for efficient and accurate data collection in the field.

· Create Dashboards and WebApps to visualize spatial data for both internal and client use.

· Develop automation workflows using Python, Power Automate, and ArcPro ModelBuilder to streamline processes.

· Troubleshoot technical problems related to ESRI products and GIS databases.

· Provide support to GIS analysts and field technicians, assisting with technical issues and data management tasks.

Nice to have for projects and the future of the company:

· Knowledge of SAFE software FME for Data Integration into AutoCAD and GIS.

· Knowledge of Python, C# .net, Java, Unity

· Knowledge of SAFE software FME for Data Integration into AutoCAD and GIS.

· GISP or Esri Certifications a plus.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or related field with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience.

· Proficiency in ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.

· Knowledge of cloud environments particularly Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.

· Experience with mobile field data collection tools such as ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Collector, and Survey123.

· Experience in developing web maps, web applications, and dashboards using GIS technologies.

· Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Arcade, JavaScript, and SQL.

· Familiarity with other related software and tools such as SQL Server Manager, Visual Studio Code, and Power Automate.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

This is a full-time position based out of any of our offices (NJ - Flanders, Hackensack, Wall), Alpharetta, GA or remote.
