JOB SUMMARY: The Software Developer will be responsible for authoring high-quality software. This position will be required to use tools and technology that include C#, .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET (MVC), IIS, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Visual Studio 2010/2012, Windows Server 2008, TFS, MS SQL Server, and SharePoint Server 2010/2013. Database Management and Administration (Secondary) A secondary role is Database Administration. The position will be responsible for implementing data models, database designs, data access methods and table maintenance routines. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, along with other technical issues. May also manage replication and other distributed data approaches. The Software Developer will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the data systems to ensure they meet organizational requirements. The position will participate in on-call support responsibilities and off-hours maintenance windows to accomplish upgrades, problem resolution and other activities to support business needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Work with IT members and business users to develop, configure and maintain Business Applications. Administer security for various applications such as BI systems, HRM and ERP systems. Responsible for database administration tasks. Create and maintain business reports and help explain contents and use of reports to end users. Logical and Physical design of OLTP databases. Implement and support application and database issues as they arise. Responsible for application and web development. Collaborate with the IT team to complete projects. Completes special projects upon requests, and other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification Required: Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL Server 2008/2008R2/2012. Minimum 2 years of experience working with BIDS, MS SQL Server Data Tools, SQL Management Studio and Visual Studio. Experience with systems development lifecycle, scrum, agile, etc. Proficient in SQL, T-SQL and scripting. Experience with .net framework 3.5 and up. Experience working with SharePoint along with a desire and ability to quickly develop proficiency. Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented development environment. Experience with multi-tier database-driven systems. Experience with Object Oriented Programming. Experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Jquery Documentation and project management skills. Experience in data modeling techniques. Knowledge and applicability of various normal forms. Experience and knowledge of multi-tier and cross-platform architectures. Experience working with web services Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate technical ideas effectively. Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Experience using formal source control tools to maintain code base. SQL server indexing and performance tuning.
