ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Planning

• Develop demand forecast at various customer and product levels for multiple time horizons, and evaluate forecast accuracy
• Interact with Sales, Marketing and customers to understand demand forecast drivers
• Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecasting models to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
• Maintain and improve statistical demand planning model

Supply Planning

• Achieve inventory optimization by meeting fill rate target without overstock
• Generate recommendations on purchasing order based on demand forecast, inventory on hand, on water as well as on order
• Understand production and distribution capacity and take that into consideration when generating purchase orders recommendations
• Define ABCD product category, set up safety stock level and reorder points based on product category, demand volatility, seasonality, leadtime and target fill rate
• Track inventory at distribution center(s) and allocation product as needed
• Report on inventory outlook, mitigate risk of overstock and understock

PO Management

• Issue purchase orders to suppliers
• Receive confirmation back from supplier with qty and dates that will be uploaded back into supply planning model
• Track production/shipping status and reconcile open POs
• Prioritize purchase orders with suppliers and Logistics teams based on latest business needs
• Support management on evaluation, implementation and maintenance of PO management software

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics, Economy or Business; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· 2 years’ experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Planner, Demand Planner, Business Analyst or similar role

· Must have experience in data modeling and analytics

· Advanced in Excel

· Experience with demand and supply planning software preferred

Pay: $67,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
