Position Summary:

We are looking for a Vertafore Systems Administrator to join our Corporate Operations team and manage our Vertafore software applications. As a Vertafore Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our Vertafore applications, including AMS360, PL Rating and WorkSmart/ImageRight. You will also provide technical support to our end users and collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our Vertafore systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage requests received in a shared email inbox or ticketing system to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Vertafore systems including performance and availability
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users on Vertafore functionality, features, and best practices
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for Vertafore applications including periodic audit of user licenses to ensure adequate usage
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees and 3^rd party vendors/users including reporting and auditing of books to support reassignments within a timely manner
• Create, maintain and monitor health of integrations with other systems
• Plan and manage platform upgrades including testing in training environment prior to rollout to Production/Live environment.
• Assist and support the data conversion process when managed internally with our team, through a 3^rd party vendor or with the support of Vertafore
• Coordinate with Vertafore and other vendors to resolve technical issues, request enhancements, and implement solutions
• Document and maintain system configurations, procedures, and policies
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations for Vertafore systems
• Evaluate and recommend new Vertafore products and services to improve our business processes and outcomes
• Support all automations including download setup, changes and enhancements
• Assist with data audits for data integrity purposes
• Manage and build reports for department leaders and servicing team members
• Manage global change process
• Any other duties connected with the operations of the company

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required 3-5 years in operations or similar role. Insurance industry is required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Vertafore Systems Administrator or similar role with strong knowledge of Vertafore software applications including AMS360, PL Rating, WorkSmart/ ImageRight
• Accuracy, high attention to detail and a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with solution-based approach when handling simple to complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work and collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects at once and to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with deadline pressures. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to interpret data and make cost effective decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
