The Sheet Metal Technician will repair, disassemble, assemble and inspect classic and exotic vehicles.

• Disassemble classic cars in an organized and delicate manner
• Assembly of high-end custom vehicles
• Conduct inspections and identify potential issues
• Work delicately around finished products
• Repair rusted and /or rotted panels with minimal filler
• Shaping of sheet metal
• Fit and ensure proper panel gapping
• Maintains a clean workspace
• Ensures required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards
• Follows all shop policy, procedures, safety and environmental rules
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3 years experience in custom sheet metal work

MIG welding is a must, and TIG a plus

Working knowledge of lathe, mill, shrinker, stretcher, power hammer, brake and planishing hammer

Mechanical experience

Must provide your own tools

Self-starter

Valid drivers license
