Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for children. You will play a crucial role in their development by creating engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and fostering a love of learning.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each student
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences

● Assists struggling students to improve their literacy skills

● Collaborates with academic staff to promote the learning and implementation of

best practices in literacy instruction

● Helps lead program wide efforts to improve literacy instruction

● Creates and examines data to measure the success of literacy programs and

instruction.

● Support the Artist around art activities that will be consistent around the literacy

curriculum.

● Implementing art based testing

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification or license (required)
- Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques
-Experience in literacy education is a plus
