Bookkeeper

Yummy Pools is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Bookkeeper. This role will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day financial functions of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial control.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Pay bills on time.
• Update budget and forecast when bills change.

Bookkeeping

• Record and categorize financial transactions consistently.
• Record customer prepayments and journal entries for deferred revenue, updating schedule monthly.
• Reconcile accounts for month end close.
• Work with Leadership Team and CPA as needed to maintain chart of accounts & accrual accounting principals.

Budgeting

• Run the budgeting process in collaboration with the Leadership Team - monthly forecasting meeting to maintain 90-day outlook plus annual forecasting to set proforma

Reporting

• Update budget to actual report for weekly meeting with Leadership Team.
• Update weekly cash forecast report for weekly meeting with Leadership Team.
• Update technician chemical budget template weekly to report to Area Leaders and technicians.
• Update monthly reports for monthly meeting with Leadership Team.
• Provide additional reports on occasion for Leadership Team.

Goals & Expectations

• Update and maintain all accounting records using bookkeeping software.
• Produce financial statements, track key metrics, and forecast depreciation, profit, and loss.
• Reconcile all accounts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial statements, bank reconciliation, and general bookkeeping.
• Advanced knowledge of computer software, particularly QuickBooks Online, Google Suite Products, and Microsoft Office.
• Two years of bookkeeping experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.83 - $19.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
