As a Fine Dining Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized service, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Exemplify Hospitality: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience. Anticipate guests' needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction at all times.
• Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including various cuts of steak, wine selections, and other culinary specialties. Offer detailed descriptions of menu items, provide recommendations, and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences.
• Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the POS system, and coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Double-check orders for accuracy before serving.
• Tableside Service: Perform tableside presentations, such as carving meats or preparing specialty dishes, with precision and flair. Engage guests in conversation, share interesting facts about the restaurant's history, and create a memorable dining experience.
• Wine Service: Assist guests in selecting wine pairings to complement their meal choices. Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guests' preferences and budgetary considerations. Handle wine service with finesse, including corkage, decanting, and pouring.
• Upselling and Add-ons: Promote additional menu items, appetizers, desserts, and specialty beverages to enhance guests' dining experience and increase revenue. Use suggestive selling techniques tactfully and with professionalism.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and maintain a cohesive team environment. Communicate effectively to coordinate guest needs and ensure seamless transitions between courses.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas, service stations, and side stations. Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to ensure a hygienic dining environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, particularly with steak and wine.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
