Position Summary:Pavion and our family of companies (CTSI, AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, et al) is seeking a project manager who plans, organizes, directs, and controls project activities required for effective management of electronic security installation projects. Supervises installation labor and sub-contractors. The Project Manager also estimates and prices job charges and works with financial, contract management and other management reports and tools to define project problems to assure project profitability. Additionally, the Project Manager is responsible for training and developing employees as well as for the quality of installation.Position Duties and Responsibilities:Plans and schedules installation and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems, or service installed jobsAssists in implementing and maintaining quality assurance program to continuously improve customer satisfactionMonitors job status and controls job costsJob closure processTraining and development of team membersSupervises team members and plays role in hiring process of new talentBasic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED5 years of project management experience in the physical and electronic security industriesValid license and clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications: Familiarity with analog/digital multi-meterTwo to four years of technical school (preferably in Electronics Training or equivalent Military training)Has a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and operationsGood subcontracting skills requiredAn understanding of job financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the handling of large projectsOther Requirements: Ability to lift and carry maximum of 50lbs (occasionally)Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
