RMG ANNISTON LLC is Hiring a SET-UP TECH / PATTERN SHOP Near Anniston, AL

Sets up/rigs foundry production pattern tools for green sand molding applications in the production of iron castings.
Participates in project planning and development of solutions to various safety, production, and quality problems throughout the department.
Inspects all equipment used daily for proper working conditions.
Observes all standard safety practices.
Maintains and completes all required records.
Applies specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards.

Ability to learn the use of precision measuring tools and blueprint reading.
Identifies and prepares pattern tools as per part numbering system.
Sets up/rigs tools with the correct part number inserts and ate code tags.
Identifies problems with tools returned and initiates repairs as needed.
Ability to learn and apply mechanical principles from seasoned machinists & pattern tool makers.
Stands stationary at workstation without sitting or leaning using repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motion at a continuous pace.
Bends, stoops, crouches, reaches, and pulls.
Walks, cleans, and completes paperwork.
Lifts and moves up to 40 pounds.
