WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a talented and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing daily IT support activities, including installing and configuring laptops, troubleshooting issues with Windows and Microsoft applications, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting various projects to enable business growth and innovation.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal users, including diagnosis and resolving hardware and software issues related to operating systems, application software and system configuration, ensuring optimal performance and functionality;
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and other software applications;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity problems, hardware failures on laptops and desktops and assisting with user account management;
  • Install, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment for new employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and security protocols;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify IT requirements and provide technical expertise and support for project initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and security;
  • Document support activities, solutions, and procedures to create knowledge resources and facilitate knowledge sharing within the IT team and across the organization;
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Setting up and managing backups/servers.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably in a high-tech or fast-paced environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred;
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including experience with Windows operating systems, Windows Server 2019 and M365;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English), with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization and a customer centric approach;
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting project initiatives is a plus;
  • Enthusiastic commitment to continuous learning in Information Technology, with a strong dedication to obtaining relevant IT certifications to enhance skills and expertise;
  • Has a desire to work in a rapidly evolving scale-up environment;
