Job Description Job DescriptionMWH Constructors ' Construction Management Services (CMS) group is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electrical Inspector for project work in Northern California, specifically Martinez, CA.Essential FunctionsProvide single-point field inspection of Contractors work representing the Construction Manager in the field.On a daily basis monitor and record all work scope being executed and prepare a comprehensive Daily Report with measurement of daily quantities completed and resources utilized.Understand contract documentation and test plan for the designated Work Package.Review, analyze and record any construction issues potentially resulting in a scope, time or cost impact to the work of the Contractor which may result in a change to the contract.Ensure master As-built drawing information is being maintained by Contractor.Attend, as necessary, Weekly Progress Meetings with Contractor, including review of progress to planned schedule.Develop project specific quality control and assurance documents and standards for projects that are under development.Plan and coordinate all field testing and inspections in accordance with the Contract Documents.Document compliance and non-compliance with established quality control and quality assurance procedures.Work with Construction Manager to implement methodology and criteria to resolve any non-compliance notices previously issued.Review and submit all test reports for inclusion in turnover documentation to Owner.Prepare written reports documenting QA/QC inspections, non-compliance notices, and corrective actions.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 10 years of relevant construction industry & inspection experience in industrial water/wastewater facilities and/or public utility projects.Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control and general contract management requirements necessary.Preferred Qualifications10 years of relevant construction industry & inspection experience.Experience with large water & wastewater treatment plants.ICC Certification in Electrical/I&C Inspection.Experience with PGE and Green Book knowledgeCompensationThe total hourly rate is $89.24 per the General Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) made by the Director of Industrial Relations.BenefitsGroup health & welfare benefits including options for medical, dental and vision100% Company Paid Benefits: Employee Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Spouse and Dependent Life & AD&D, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Employee Assistance Program and Health AdvocateVoluntary benefits at discounted group rates for accidents, critical illness, and hospital indemnityFlexible Time Off Program (includes vacation and personal time)Paid Sick and Safe LeavePaid Parental Leave Program10 Paid Holidays401(k) Plan (company matching contributions up to 4%).Employee Referral ProgramMWH Constructors is a global project delivery company in heavy civil construction with a focus on water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
