We boldly go.The Supply Master Data Management (MDM) Engineering Leader will lead the Supply MDM team (formerly named Parts Doc), own part set-up and attributes for SBOM & PIM effectiveness; in addition, this role serves as the Part data enrichment owner to enable distribution, syndication, and e-commerce for the Trane HVAC Supply Business. This key role reports directly to the Supply SBU Engineering Leader.

Core Job Responsibilities:

· Represent the SBU on key Enterprise projects/initiatives for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Component Engineering (CE) enhancements.

· Responsible for leading with a customer-driven mindset while interfacing with individuals across all levels of the organization as the process subject matter expert.

· Understand business priorities and ensure that they are translated effectively into actionable work for the team.

· Strong program and project management skills with ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes.

· Develop and maintain a Master Data Map and annual improvement plan based on world class best practices and maturity model.

· Collaborate with Supply Part Growth Teams (PGTs) to implement standards for data structure to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy that align with the Enterprise CE strategy.

· Collaborate with IT department, Digital team, PLM team, etc. for systemwide support of applications with data import/export, syncing, processing, analyzing, and reporting.

· Responsible for training, performance review, and driving best practices related to all part enrichment requirements for on-shore and off-shore MDM/PIM support teams.

· Work with data science analyst(s) to design and implement real-time dashboards and tools to reduce service part proliferation and improve SBOM effectiveness.

· Ability to travel up to 25% required

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree required and a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience. Technical discipline is preferred (i.e., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).

· Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) required or willingness to achieve in first year.

· Proficient experience and knowledge of PLM & ERP Business systems is required. (Oracle, Creo, and Windchill are preferred.)

· Advanced automation skills are required using Power BI, SQL, AI/ML, and/or similar tools.

· 5 years of experience leading teams is required (i.e., manager, program mgr., etc.).

· Proficient lean knowledge and experience required with driving waste elimination in administrative processes (people, process, application).

· Prior experience preferred working with global teams, with the full component and product life cycle, and with component rationalization/standardization.

· Prior experience with PIM part attributing to support syndication and e-commerce is preferred.

Annual Base Pay Range: $ 140,000 to 185,000
