828 Logistics is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Cincinnati, OH

Description

As the Sales Manager at 828 Logistics, you will lead a team of Sales Executives and be responsible for driving revenue. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets/KPI’s, and facilitating the ongoing training of your team. 

Responsibilities: 

· Driving revenue through coaching and development of your sales team 

· Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new Sales Executives

· CRM Management and oversight of Account Governance 

· Lead pricing strategy for both RFP’s and spot quotes

· Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures

· Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics

· Assist sales team in customer presentations and corporate sales

· Ensure that employees maintain the highest level of integrity 

· Executing on going sales training and new business development strategies

· Daily management and reporting of CRM

· Occasional travel to meet with account reps, prospects and customers 

Requirements

Education and Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • 3 years of Sales Management Experience required.
  • Logistics, freight brokerage, or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to coach, lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong work-ethic, growth-minded and self-starter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have strong computer skills.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7/365
