We are a local Chiropractic office looking for someone to come grow with us. We are a small office with a big heart. Customer service and excellent patient care are top priorities. We have an immediate opening for a medical office receptionist who is able to work evenings. We are looking for a front desk receptionist who is looking for long-term, stable employment.
Howell Chiropractic is a small family owed business located in Kettering, OH. At Howell Chiropractic we feel the receptionist is the first person patients or clients encounter upon entering the office, and the receptionist may set the tone for the visit. Our practice places great importance on the roles of our receptionists. Our office staff are dedicated to helping patients achieve wellness objectives- combining skill and expertise that spans the entire chiropractic wellness spectrum.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
* Answering, assisting, and directing all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
* Checking patients in and out, scheduling
* Posting patient payments and charges
* Balancing charges and payments at the end of each day
* Performing related clerical work such as typing, filing, and other duties as they arise
* Checking emails and website appointment notifications
* Using applicable software programs
* Providing administrative support when needed
* Must be able to work 2-3 evenings per week:
**Receptionist hours are:
Monday and Weds- 12:00 p.m-7:30 pm.;
Tuesday- off;
Thursday (alternate)- 12:00 p.m-5:00 pm. Or 12:00 pm-7:30 pm.;
Friday- 12:00 pm.-5:00 pm.
This position is for 24-30 hours weekly.

Medical office reception experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer relationship skills
